Although the game has yet to be officially announced, Mass Effect 4 will have a online component just like its predecessor. According to senior development director Chris Wynn, Electronic Arts is currently recruting an online producer to help develop that portion of the game.
"Things are getting real now and I need an excellent Producer to come shape online for the next Mass Effect," said Wynn on Twitter. At the moment, we do not know if the game will either include a full multiplayer component or just some online features unrelated to multiplayer.
Considering the sucess of Mass Effect 3's multiplayer, it would be no surprise if Bioware is planning to have multiplayer in Mass Effect 4.
