PLaytonic Games, the studio which is comprised of ex-Rare developers responsible for some of the iconic Rare titles from the Nintendo 64 and Super Nintendo era, have announced that they will be bringing on some of the composers and sound engineers from the old Rare team for their spiritual sequel to the Banjo Kazooie franchise.
The three men who will be responsible for the sound for this new title will be none other than David Wise, Grant Kirkhope and Steve Burke. Between the three of them, they have been responsible for the music and sound effects for the Donkey Kong Country games, Banjo Kazooie and many other titles produced by the iconic studio.
Quite humorously, according to the playtonic website, Kirkhope, Wise and Burke will be working for a regular wage of Yorkshire Teabags, a bumper box of Worther's Originals and "real currency" respectively.
There is still very little known about the title, but as of now, the game is sounding like a love letter to the classic Nintendo 64 style of 3D platforming games. Are you excited for this new title, let us know in the comment section below.
