Atlus is known for including pre-order/first-run bonuses for their releases in North America and the publisher has announced that Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker will be getting pre-order bonuses for everyone who buys one of the initial launch copies of the game at retail.
In the post-game content, entitled the "Triangulum" arc, Nicaea is back online and the protagonist and the others will have to confront their own deaths to alter their fates and save the world. This new portion includes around 40 hours of new content including new characters, settings, bosses and more additions.
The Nintendo 3DS version of the game includes fully voiced content for both the original "Sepentrione" arc and the new post-game arc. Atlus also included new StreetPass and SpotPass functionality. Additionally, those who've played the original game can skip straight to the new post-game content if they wish.
Along with the usual soundtrack CD, featuring music from Atlus's renowned composer Shoji Meguro, and collectable outer box included with most of Atlus's first-party releases, Atlus will also be including several decal sheets featuring characters from the game and the logos for the death video website Nicaea and the paramilitary organization JP's.
SMT: Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker will be released in North America on May 5 at retail and digitally via the Nintendo eShop.
