Over the weekend, Square Enix has revealed the contents of Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward's Collector's Edition, as well as its price. The publisher also revealed that players will be able to chose between a physical or digital Collector's Edition, with the latter not including the physical goodies.

The expansion's Collector's Edition features a Dragon Mount statue, a Heavensward Art Book that features designs and illustrations created during the development of the expansion, and a promotional blu-ray that includes a complitation of all of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn's trailers. In addition to these physical goodies, the Collector's Edition also includes in-game items such as a flying mount and a helm based on that of Final Fantasy IV's Cecil.

The Heavensward expansion takes players to explore a whole new location, Ishgard, where players will be able to take the skies and explore floating continents via flying mounts, which include black chocobos, dragons, personal airships and more. Along with the new story and locations, the expansion will also add new job classes, a new loot system, a new playable race, new dungeons and raids, and level cap increase from 50 to 60.

The physical Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward Collector's Edition will be available to purchase for $129.99/£129.99/€129.99. The digital Collector's Edition, which includes the expansion and the in-game items, will be available for $59.99/£59.99/€59.99.
