Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains Gets A US Release Date, With A Free Theme

After it's revealing during last month's Nintendo Direct, North American publisher Atlus USA has announced that the North American release date has been set, along with some news about a free Nintendo 3DS theme included with the game.

North America will get the game on May 12 exclusively through the Nintendo eShop for $39.99, which will include a free unique Attack on Titan Nintendo 3DS theme included with each and every purchase. The publisher also noted that this theme will be available only along with the game and won't be available for purchase separately.

Some of you might have remembered that the game was also being released digitally in Europe, though. Atlus mentioned that due to a copyright claim in that territory the game will have a slight delay and will be known by it's Japanese title with the full game name of Shingeki no Kyojin: Humanity in Chains. Atlus noted they're aiming for a finalized release date in Europe and hope to reveal more information as soon as possible, but they did mention that the theme will be included with the European release as well.

Until May 12's North American release, check out the new character trailer above and the new screenshots below.
