With Marty Stratton taking the stage, Bethesda started its E3 conference by showing the upcoming Doom title. The publisher announced that the game will release in Spring 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The Doom reboot, which is being developed using the id Tech 6 enfine, is going to bring out the best of the series with its classic violence and weapons. Players can expect violent moments like decapitations and NPCs shred to pieces, and traditional weapons like double barrelled shotguns and chainsaws.
The game will also feature some new additions to make things fresh. One of these new additions is the Doom Snapmap, a feature that allows players to create custom game types, maps and modes, and share them with their friends and players around the world.
