Like most of us already realized over the recent years, every Call of Duty DLC that was released would be exclusive to Xbox platforms for 30 days. However, this year's E3 gave us the hint that this year things would be different, with Sony's Andrew House even announcing that PlayStation is the new home for the Call of Duty series.
Although we were left in doubt at the time if this deal also passed over to PlayStation platforms, Sony's Adam Boyes has told Kotaku that Sony and Activision have made a deal to release all Call of Duty DLC exclusively on PlayStation platforms for 30 days. This deal will start with the next entry in the series, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, but neither side revealed for how many years will this deal last.
Call of Duty: Blacks Ops III releases worldwide on the 6th of November on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. For those anxiously awating for more of Call of Duty: Black Ops III, feel free to check extended version of the E3 gameplay demo below.
