If you've been wondering when you can boogie down with Persona 4: Dancing All Night in North America fear not, as Atlus has revealed that the game will be released in that territory on September 29, along with two new character videos showcasing newcomer Kanami Mashita and Persona 4 favorite Teddie.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night is a story-driven music game that takes place after the events in Persona 4. Players get pulled onto the Midnight Stage when the spotlight turns to mega-idol Rise and her junior group, Kanamin Kitchen. Members of Kanamin Kitchen have disappeared and it's up to the Investigation team to mount a rescue mission - only they discover the same monstrous Shadows from the Midnight Channel. To make matters even worse, their Persona abilities are rendered ineffective, and The Shadows in P4D can only be defeated by dance, so bust out powerful dance moves to save the day!

For those who have played Persona 4 Arena or Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will find things very familiar in this game, as it's presented in a similar visual novel-type format, which follows the Investigation Team as they solve the mystery behind the Midnight Stage and how it ties in to Rise and her junior group Kanamin Kitchen.

Kanami Mashita is the leader of Kanamin Kitchen, and was briefly mentioned during Persona 4 but was never shown. But this time around, she's paramount in this game as her and other members of her idol group start mysterious disappearing. (And if you're wondering why she calls herself a prize cow with marbled meat, Kanamin Kitchen's Idol gimmick is that they all represent types of meat.)

Next up, everyone's favorite Midnight Channel denizen, Teddie! He's always been one to bear through situations with the team when things get grizzly, especially when there's idols involved. When news of the Kanamin Kitchen members disappearing into the Midnight Channel, he groups up with the investigation team to find out what's going on.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night will be released on September 29 in North America in both a special launch edition edition for $49.99 and a "Disco Fever" edition for $79.99, the content of both you can find out in this earlier news post. NIS America will be releasing the game over in Europe in both a normal and similar "Disco Fever" edition later this Fall.
