Persona 4: Dancing All Night is a story-driven music game that takes place after the events in Persona 4. Players get pulled onto the Midnight Stage when the spotlight turns to mega-idol Rise and her junior group, Kanamin Kitchen. Members of Kanamin Kitchen have disappeared and it's up to the Investigation team to mount a rescue mission - only they discover the same monstrous Shadows from the Midnight Channel. To make matters even worse, their Persona abilities are rendered ineffective, and The Shadows in P4D can only be defeated by dance, so bust out powerful dance moves to save the day!
For those who have played Persona 4 Arena or Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will find things very familiar in this game, as it's presented in a similar visual novel-type format, which follows the Investigation Team as they solve the mystery behind the Midnight Stage and how it ties in to Rise and her junior group Kanamin Kitchen.
Following in the footsteps of the previously two most recently released Persona titles in the west, Atlus will be releasing a set of free DLC upon the game's launch. For this game specifically, said DLC will be the Girls' Swimsuit Set. The DLC only affects Free Dance mode, but it allows you to have full control over your character and their dance partner's look as well. The DLC will be available for free for the first week following the game's launch. The DLC will unlock the swimsuit costumes for Rise, Yukiko, Chie, and Naoto.
Persona 4: Dancing All Night will be released on September 29 in North America in both a special launch edition edition for $49.99 and a "Disco Fever" edition for $79.99. NIS America will be releasing the game over in Europe in both a normal and similar "Disco Fever" edition later this Fall.
