NIS America has announced that the European release of Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance will have a minor delay, with the new release date set for October 16.

The sixth home console entry to the legendary Disgaea series tells a tale of revenge, and of rebellion. As a new and terrible Overlord named Void Dark seeks to enslave the countless Netherworlds, one young demon has stood to end his reign—Killia. In Disgaea 5, lead Killia and his tenacious army of rebels on their dark and dangerous path to vengeance. Filled with more over-the-top action and hilarious writing than ever before, Disgaea 5's damage numbers are surely headed for the record books.

Noting unforeseen circumstances, the publisher announced the new one-week push back to October 16 in Europe will be applying to both the retail and digital versions of the game. This also affects the two DLC packs featuring Bunny Seraphina and Weapon Starter Set, exclusively free in Europe, which will be also available on October 16 and will be free for one full month. This doesn't affect the North American release, which is set for October 6.

NIS America would like to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance will have a new release date of 16 October 2015. Please note that this 1 week push back will be affecting all retailers in the European region, as well as the digital release of the full game.

Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance will be released both physically and digitally in North America on October 6 and in Europe on October 16, exclusively for the PS4 in both regions. All initial physical copies of the game will be a special Launch Edition that includes the game, a reversible cover, 32-page art book, and the original soundtrack --- all packed inside a collector's box.
