Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy Agito+, which was in development for PS Vita, has been cancelled. The announcement was made via Square Enix's Twitter account, with the japanese company giving no reason for the game's cancellation.
Final Fantasy Agito+ was announced last year and it was scheduled to release last January, however, due to development problems, the game ended up being delayed indefinitely. An iOS version of the game was planned to release in the west, but Square Enix has yet to confirm if this version was also cancelled or not.
Even if Final Fantasy Agito+ is no more, taking in consideration the secret ending of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, it seems likely that Square Enix might still have something in store for fans.
