According to the Official Xbox Magazine, the upcoming Rise of the Tomb Raider won't have a multiplayer component. Although Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have yet to confirm this, it wouldn't be surprising if this is indeed true.
The development team at Crystal Dynamics is currently focusing all their efforts to deliver a campaign experience as entertaining and fun as possible. The fact that the multiplayer component of the 2013's Tomb Raider wasn't well-received is probably the reason that the team is doing things differently this time around, even if it means removing the multiplayer.
Square Enix has also released today a few comparison shots, allowing us to check the differences between the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions.
Rise of the Tomb Raider releases on Xbox One and Xbox 360 on the 10th of November. The game will be available on PC in early 2016 and on PS4 sometime during Holiday 2016.
