Halo 5: Guardians's campaign will take players approximately 8 to 12 hours to complete, 343 Industries has revealed via an infographic. Along with this information, the infographic also reveals some other details regarding both the campaign and the multiplayer.
Split into 15 chapters, the campaign will obviously take longer if players decide to play it on the hardest difficulty and/or collect all the game's collectibles, which include 13 hidden skulls and 117 intel items. As for playable characters, the campaign will offer players 8 different characters to choose from: Master Chief, Locke, Linda, Kelly, Fred, Vale, Buck and Tanaka.
Regarding multiplayer, Halo 5 will have 21 multiplayer maps available at launch, with over 18 maps being added after the game's release. 343 Industries has previously confirmed that all Halo 5: Guardians DLC multiplayer maps will be available at no additional cost.
Halo 5: Guardians releases on the 27th of October on Xbox One.
