CD Projekt RED has released today the first screenshots of the second expansion of The Witcher 3, Blood and Wine. These screenshots show a grand city and a place that appears to be a vineyard.
"Blood and Wine, the second expansion for The Witcher 3, is on the horizon," said game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz. "It's a massive new land to explore, visually unlike anything you saw in Wild Hunt or Hearts of Stone, and it too is brimming with stories we want you to discover."
Blood and Wine is said to add approximately 20 hours of content and will take place in the new region of Toussaint. The expansion will "take Geralt to a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret."
The Witcher 3 Blood and Wine expansion is set to release in the first half of 2016 and will be available to purchase for $19.99/£15.99/€19.99. Season Pass holders can download this expansion for free.
