EA has announced the upcoming content, both paid and free, that will be coming to Star Wars Battlefront throughout the year. This includes new maps, outfits, missions, and more.

The first piece of new content will be available for free starting tomorrow. The update will add new Hoth-themed outfits for Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, Daily Challenges and Community Events, Private Matches, and a few balancing tweaks to both weapons and multiplayer modes. In addition, the Tatooine Survival map will start supporting Blast, Droid Run, Drop Zone, Hero Hunt, and Heroes vs Villains multiplayer modes, and will be called Raider Camp.

Players will receive more free content in February and March. The February update will introduce a new Survival mission and a new Hoth multiplayer map, both set on Hoth. The map will support bigger game modes, including Walker Assault, Supremacy, Fighter Squadron and Turning Point. This update will also make Turning Point available on all maps that support Walker Assault and Supremacy

Then, in March, a new multiplayer map on Endor that supports bigger modes will be introduced. Players can also expect a new Tatooine Survival map to be released in the same month.

Season Pass holders will get access to even more via four premium DLC expansions, with the first of these also releasing in March. You can find some details and the release windows for the other three below:

  • Outer Rim (March 2016) - Fight among the factories of Sullust and battle within Jabba the Hutt's palace on Tatooine.
  • Bespin (Summer 2016) - It's hunt or be hunted in this action-packed experience set in the Cloud City of Bespin.
