Electronic Arts has announced that the PC version of Need For Speed will release on the 17th of March. The PC version had previously been delayed to give more time to the developer and allow them to improve the game's visuals on PC and include support for an unlocked framerate.
As promised by Ghost Games, Need for Speed on PC features an unlocked framerate and supports 4K resolution. It also offers steering wheel support for a selection of wheels from Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec.
The game contains all the improvements and tweaks made to the game since its release on PS4 and Xbox One. Although a release date for the Manual Tranmission update on consoles has yet be revealed, Electronic Arts confirmed that this update will also be included in the PC version. This update will be released on consoles soon.
EA Origin Access members will be able to play Need for Speed for free for a limited time starting on the 10th of March. As usual, all progress will be carried over to the full game.
Players that pre-order the Need For Speed Deluxe Edition through Origin will receive the Tricked-out starter car, exclusive wraps, among other bonuses.
