Mirror's Edge Catalyst's closed beta kicks off on the 22nd of April, Electronic Arts has announced. Participants will be able to experience the beta for five days, before it's shuts down on the 26th of April.
Those who have signed up and were selected will receive a code the day the closed beta kicks off. The beta will include main missions in Faith's story, Side Missions, other optional content, and Social Play features. Design Director Erik Odeldahl stressed that the experience will be different in comparision to the final product, as the team will gather feedback and will make a few testings before launch.
"As with any beta, the experience will not be the same as the final product," Odeldahl explained. "The Closed Beta is a chance for us to gather your valuable feedback and test the Social Play and online systems before launch. We know that as community members, you will have invaluable feedback on the game and we look forward to your comments and reaction when the Closed Beta start."
Mirror's Edge Catalyst releases on the 24th of May in North America and on the 26th of May in Europe.
