Psyonix has announced that Hoops, Rocket League's basketball-themed game mode, will launch on the 26th of April on PS4, Xbox One and PC. This update will be available for free for everyone.
Hoops is played in the new Dunk House arena and the objective is to get the ball through a hoop, similar to basketball. The hoop's net can be used as a ramp for the ball and Aerials, with Psyonix adding that wall-play will be the "key to victory." The Hoops update also includes an NBA logo flag.
Along with this free update, Psyonix is also releasing the NBA Flag Pack premium DLC. Available for $1.99/£1.69/€1.99, this premium pack gives players access to all 30 NBA team logos as in-game flags.
In other news, developer Psyonix has revealed that the game has been played by 14 million players. "Developer Psyonix has announced the soccer-with-cars game has now reached 14 million players," the studio said on Twitter.
