Warner Bros has announced that Batman: Return to Arkham, a bundle that includes remastered versions of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, has been delayed. The publisher explains that the delay was necessary in order to ensure that Batman: Returns to Arkham is polished Batman Arkham experince.
"After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience," said Warner Bros.
"We do not have a release date yet and will be sure to communicate that once we are sure the game will be ready. We know this is disappointing news, but we feel the extra time will allow the team to create the best gaming experience for our fans."
Remastered using Unreal Engine 4, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City will feature improved graphics, as well as upgraded models, environments, lighting, effects and shaders. All Game of the Year edition bonus and downloadable content from both games will also be included.
Batman: Return to Arkham was previously set to release on the 29th of July. Warner Bros has yet to reveal a new release date for this collection.
