Rumor: Batman: Return To Arkham Delayed To November 'At The Earliest'

A few weeks ago, Warner Bros revealed that Batman: Return to Arkham had been delayed, with the publisher not providing a new release date during the announcement. However, it seems that this bundle that includes remastered versions of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City won't release until November "at the earliest", multiple sources told Eurogamer.

According to the same sources, the reason for the delay centres around the quality of the port from Chinese developer Virtuous Games, with frame-rate being the major issue. After the disastrous launch of Batman: Arkham Knight on PC, it's only natural that third-party ports are a topic of particular concern to Warner Bros and Rocksteady.

Remastered using Unreal Engine 4, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City will feature improved graphics, as well as upgraded models, environments, lighting, effects and shaders. All Game of the Year edition bonus and downloadable content from both games will also be included.

Warner Bros. has yet to comment on the situation.
