The 2TB Xbox One S launch edition is coming to stores on the 2nd of August, Microsoft has announced. A release date for the 1TB and 500GB models has yet to be revealed.
The 2TB Xbox One S will be available on the 2nd of August in the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UK and United States. It will become available in other markets later this year.
The Xbox One S is 40% smaller than the original Xbox One, it features an IR blaster and integrated power supply, and will output 4K video. The controller is also different, with the new Xbox Wireless Controller featuring textured grip, improved Xbox Wireless signal and added Bluetooth support.
The 2TB Xbox One S launch edition will be available for $399/£349/â‚¬399. If you think that's a bit expensive, you can always wait for the 1TB and 500Gb models, which will be available for $349/£299/â‚¬349 and $299/£249/â‚¬299, respetively.
