Mortal Kombat XL will release for PC on the 4th of October, Warner Bros has revealed.

While High Voltage Software was in charge of the port for base game, it's poor quality led Warner Bros to put Qloc behind the port of Mortal Kombat XL. Qloc is Polish company that has been handling most of Capcom's recent PC ports.

Just like on consoles, Mortal Kombat XL will feature the base game plus both Kombat packs, which give players access to more playable characters and skins. Warner Bros has yet to confirm if the Kombat Pack 2 will available for purchase separately. In addition, those who own Mortal Kombat X will be able to download a patch that will enhance online experience and character balance.

Mortal Kombat XL released in March on PS4 and Xbox One. The game earned a solid score, with Blair calling it the definitive version of Mortal Kombat X.
