  • OS: Windows 7, 8, 10 (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-750, 2.66GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.2GHz
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GeForce GTX 560 or Radeon HD 7870
  • DirectX: Version 9.0c
  • Storage: 15 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX 11 compatible

The PC version of Tales of Berseria supports resolutions ranging from 800x600 all the way up to 4K, although it's only upscaled to 4K and doesn't feature native 4K graphics. In addition, there's also 30 FPS and 60 FPS options, multiple levels of SMAA and FXAA, other visual options, and the option to fully remap the controls.

As for DRM, the game uses Denuvo and Namco Bandai explained why it was necessary.

"We love the community: It is you guys that ensure that we continually bring more Tales games out, and to a high caliber," said Namco. "It wouldn't be fair to you if we didn't put any systems in place to prevent people who try to acquire the game through illegitimate means as it eventually will slow us down bringing games onto PC. Denuvo has been proven to be a reliable way to fight piracy. So far, no conclusive evidence is proven to disrupt the player experience."

Those who pre-order Tales of Berseria in Europe will get two packs of physical goods. These include a set of six badges and a metal key chain. In addition, PC users who own Tales of Zestiria or Tales of Symphonia can take 10% off of their pre-order on Steam, while PS4 players who pre-order the game on PlayStation Store will get three soundtracks and a PlayStation theme.

Tales of Berseria will release on PS4 on the 24th of January in North America and on the 27th of January in Europe. The PC version will be available on Steam on the 27th of January regardless of where you live.
