Bandai Namco announced that Tekken 7 will launch on the 2nd of June on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The publisher also revealed the game's Collector's Edition, Deluxe Edition, Season Pass and Pre-order bonuses.
Starting with the game's Collector's Edition, this edition includes a copy of Tekken 7, the Season Pass, a spectacular statue measuring approximately 30cm tall by 45cm wide that features a dynamic pose with Kazuya fly kicking Heihachi in mid-air, a special Steel Book, and the official Tekken 7 soundtrack.
The digital Deluxe Edition comes with a copy of the game and the Season Pass. This edition will also be available in physical format exclusively at GAME retail in the UK and Gamestop in Ireland.
The Season Pass will grant players access to three content packs aimed to extend the Tekken 7 experience and will include new playable characters, new stages, a new game mode, costume packs, and a bonus 35-piece Metallic Costume Pack. Each DLC pack contained within the Tekken 7 Season Pass may also be purchased separately.
Finally, those who pre-order the game, either be the digital or retail version, will get free DLC access to Eliza, the famed vampire character that made her Tekken debut in Tekken Revolution. In addition, those who pre-order on PS4 will get a PS4 theme, while those on Xbox One will be treated to an added bonus of receiving a free copy of Tekken 6 that takes advantage of the backwards compatible capabilities of the Xbox One platform.
"Tekken 7 for home console and PC represents the culmination of the highest levels of fighting game development, even surpassing its arcade counterpart by offering additional balance and fine tuning, the inclusion of a dramatic story mode, more characters, and the implementation of online tournament modes that are sure to ignite the fighting spirit amongst gamers around the world," said Namco.
