Action RPG Akiba's Beat Releases In May On PS4 And PS Vita

XSEED Games and PQube announced that the upcoming action RPG Akiba's Beat will release on the 16th of May in North America and on the 19th of May in Europe. The game will be available for PS4 and PS Vita.

While Akiba's Beat shares the same setting as Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed, which was released back in 2014 for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, everything else is completely new: the story, the characters, the gameplay style, and even the tone. This means you can jump in and enjoy the experience even if you haven't played Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed.

If you have never heard of Akiba's Beat before, here's the story synopsis and key features of the game:

Mysterious events are taking place in Akihabara, the world-famous district of Tokyo where technology and culture meet. Twisted by a sinister presence, the people's memories, hopes and dreams manifest in reality and warp Akiba in strange ways, the town is now stuck in a time loop, causing dangerous distortions in the very fabric of space and time!

Befriend the colourful characters of Akiba and form your team to take on fantasies come to life, become the champion of Akiba and restore the town to its rightful state in this exciting new Action RPG!
