Square Enix showcased new gameplay footage of its action RPG Dragon Quest Heroes II at PAX East 2017. It was also confirmed that a PS4 demo for the game will be available on PlayStation Store soon.
In this video, courtesy of Dualshockers, we learn that, unlike the original Dragon Quest Heroes, the areas in Dragon Quest Heroes II are connected, allowing players to roam from one area to another. Another addition in Dragon Quest Heroes II is the online multiplayer. You can team up with up to three other players, and take on main story missions or special dungeons with some of the hardest enemies in the game. The video also provides some details on the game's characters, the game's hub area and the two different play modes players can use.
Dragon Quest Heroes II releases on PS4 on the 25th of April in North America and on the 28th of April in Europe. The PC version will release worldwide on the 25th of April, while a release date for the Switch version has yet to be revealed.
