Square Enix has released today a new batch of screenshots for Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. These showcase several combat situations and cutscenes.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will include the 'Zodiac Job System', which was introduced in the International version of Final Fantasy XII. With this revamped License Board players will have to assign a character to one of twelve jobs, with each of the twelve jobs in the Zodiac System having a different Licence Board. This means that different boards will give characters access to different abilities, stats boosts and equipment.

Remastered for PS4, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will feature backgrounds, character models, all 2D parts including fonts, and movie scenes fully remastered in high-definition. The game also features newly-recorded background music, "high-definition voicing", English and Japanese voices, and support for 7.1 surround sound. Players can switch between the original and newly remastered soundtrack. There's also new features including faster load times, auto-save funcionality and trophy support.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age releases on PS4 on the 11th of July.
