Square Enix has released today a new update for Final Fantasy XV. Update 1.09 comes with the PS4 Pro improvements, new Timed Quests, and more.
Back in February, Square Enix released a PS4 Pro patch meant to allow PS4 Pro players to play the game in 1080p/60 FPS. However, the end result was very poor as the game's performance was very unstable, running between 30-50 fps. Today's update introduces "stable mode", which allows the game to run with a consistent frame rate.
This update brings back Timed Quests, and this time it’s a fishing contest. You will earn Quest Points for catching fish, and you can redeem these Quest Points for various rewards, including the Afrojack sword. In addition, this update also adds leaderboards for Timed Quests, new stickers and songs for the Regalia, and a new option to increase the size of the fonts for menu screens, equipment and subtitles,
Final Fantasy XV is available on PS4 and Xbox One.
