Treyarch Studios has officially announced Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles, the newest zombie-related DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. The announcement was made by Treyarch Studio co-head Jason Blundell during a guest spot on YouTuber JCBackfire's show.
The Fifth DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops III will include eight maps, all of which were recreated and remastered from previous Call of Duty titles. The maps included in Zombies Chronicles are:
- Call of Duty: World at War – Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, and Shi No Numa
- Call of Duty: Black Ops – Kino Der Toten, Ascension, Shangri-la, and Moon
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 – Origins
What we’ve done is a loving fan-service piece by making eight of the original maps, going back from World at War all the way through. We’ve lovingly recreated and remastered eight of the original maps.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles releases on the 16th of May on PS4, and on Xbox One and PC sometime in mid-June. Activision has yet to reveal an individual price for this DLC, and whether it will be a part of the game's Season Pass.
