Microsoft has announced that its new gaming subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, will launch on the 1st of June. The Xbox Game Pass service will grant players unlimited access to over 100 Xbox One and backward compatible Xbox 360 games.

Microsoft also revealed the line-up of titles that will be available when the service launches, which you can check here. Payday 2: Crimeware Edition, Bioshock Infinite, Perfect Dark Zero, Terraria, Resident Evil 0, Halo 5: Guardians, Borderlands, Banjo-Kazooie, and Sunset Overdrive are just a few of the titles included on this list. In addition, a 14-day free trial is now available for Xbox Gold members.

Xbox Game Pass allows you to download the full titles directly on your Xbox One. That means continuous, full-fidelity gameplay without having to worry about streaming, bandwidth or connectivity issues. Every month new games will cycle into the subscription with some cycling out, giving you a constantly-updating library of games.

In addition, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will receive discounts when purchasing games or add-ons for games currently in the Xbox Game Pass catalog. Subscribers will get a 20% discount on the base game and a 10% discount on all related add-on.

An Xbox Live Gold membership is not required to get access to Xbox Game Pass. However, players will still need an Xbox Live Gold subscription to play in multiplayer in Xbox Game Pass titles. Should you cancel subscription, any games downloaded through the service will no longer be available. All progress and achievements you earn a Xbox Game Pass game will carry over to the game should you purchase it.

The service will be available for $9.99 per month.
