Back at EVO 2017, Bandai Namco announced that registration for the closed beta would open on the 26th of July. However, the publisher has now revealed that it has delayed registration for Dragon Ball FighterZ's closed beta to the 22nd of August.
According to Bandai Namco, due to the volume of excitement and enthusiasm surrounding the closed beta announcement, the team decided to expand the capacity of the closed beta in an effort to enable more players to participate in the program. The closed beta will run September 16-18, and it will be available for PS4 and Xbox One. The beta will feature nine playable characters for fighting game aficionados and Dragon Ball fans to take into battle.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is slated for an early 2018 launch on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
