Naughty Dog and Sony Interactive Entertainment released 13 minutes of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy gameplay footage. This gameplay video showcases Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross exploring India's Western Ghats region.
The Lost Legacy features wide open spaces, just like Uncharted 4's Madagascar area, which players can explore by 4X4 or on foot. According to Creative Director Shaun Escayg, the Wester Ghats is the largest area ever portrayed in the Uncharted series.
Combat sequences also feel more varied in The Lost Legacy, building on the improvements introduced in Uncharted 4. Just like in Uncharted 4, players have the option to stick to the tall grass and focus on stealth, or charge in guns blazing. To help players navigate the large environments, Naughty Dog added a map that you can pull out with a tap of DualShock 4’s touchpad.
Unlike Nathan Drake, Chloe can pick the locks of various supply crates scattered throughout the game, where she can find grenade launchers, a silenced pistols, or other gear to help even the odds against Asav's men. This addition helps mix up your arsenal, and keeps the combat feeling fresh.
