Indie developer OddBird has detailed two of the game modes that will be featured in its upcoming cartoonish and fast-paced multiplayer archery game Arrow Heads: Arena and Arcade Mode. You can get a preview of both game modes in action in the new gameplay trailer below.
In the Arena Mode, 2-4 frenemies can duke it out both locally and online, or both at the same time. Battle through 7 unique stages using utterly devastating power-ups like explosive rockets, electric tesla coils and leg-chomping bear traps to take out your enemies.
If things get a little too intense in the arena between your family or friends, the Arcade Mode is a fully co-operative survival mode that lets 1-4 archers team up to battle against 25 waves of enemies and compete for highscores. 5 unique enemy types are out to knock you right on the beak. Regardless of which mode you choose, feathers will fly.
Arrow Heads pits players against their avian counterparts in a wacky 2-4 player adventure, where chaotic moments are always just around the corner. Wield bows, dodge and deflect arrows (as well as other projectiles) in this isometric archery game that is guaranteed to be fun for the whole family.
Arrow Heads will be available on the 21st of September for PC via Steam for $14.99. The Xbox One and PS4 versions will follow in early 2018.
