Dragon Ball FighterZ Story Trailer Released, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Getting New Content

Bandai Namco has released a brand new trailer for its upcoming fighting game, Dragon Ball FighterZ. This trailer reveals more details about the story mode within the game.

Dragon Ball FighterZ’s story mode links players with the body and mind of Goku to discover what caused all the Dragon Ball warriors to lose consciousness when a group of warrior clones appeared. Players will play through three story arcs to uncover the nefarious plot behind this highly unusual situation.

Bandai Namco also revealed more details on new content and a collaboration between Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Dragon Ball FighterZ. Regarding this collaboration, special items will be given to those who own both games.

The new game mode Hero Colosseum will be available for free this Autumn on all versions of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Hero Colosseum will have its own story mode where players will experience a tactical figurine battle. New content will also be available with the paid Extra Pack 1 and Extra Pack 2. Both will offer new characters and gameplay features:

  • Extra Pack 1 available this Autumn will include Tapion, Android 13 and 2 new characters.
  • Extra Pack 2 will contain a new original character, a new scenario and a new way to interact with Dragon Ball characters. On top of that, players may also discover an all new form Goku in the Extra Pack 2.

Dragon Ball FighterZ releases on the 26th of January on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
