Square Enix has announced that a free demo for Lost Sphear, the second title from Tokyo RPG Factory, is now available to download from the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store and Steam.
In the demo, players will join Kanata and his friends on their adventure and get an early look at some of the exciting new features in Lost Sphear, including:
- The Artefacts system, which allows players to utilize restored Memories to customize their user-interface, obtain player bonuses, as well as advance the story;
- All-new Vulcosuit armor mechs;
- Special Paradigm Drive attacks unique to each character.
In Lost Sphear, players will begin their adventure in a remote town where a young boy, Kanata, awakens from a devastating dream to find his hometown disappearing. To stop the world from being lost forever, Kanata and his comrades set out to rebuild the world around them with the power of Memory by manifesting thoughts into matter and restoring what was lost.
Lost Sphear releases on PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on the 23rd of January in North America and Europe. Those who pre-order Lost Sphear on the PlayStation Store will receive a “Memoirs of the Moon” dynamic PS4 theme, as well as two music tracks, while those who pre-order on Steam will receive a custom Lost Sphear wallpaper, as well as two music tracks. The game will also be available as a physical package exclusively from the Square Enix Online Store for the PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Fans who pre-order the game from the Square Enix Online Store will receive two music tracks as a gift at launch.
