SoulCalibur VI Releases On October 19th on PS4, Xbox One and PC

Bandai Namco has announced SoulCalibur VI will launch on the 19th of October for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Along with the announcement of the game's launch date, Bandai Namco also released a new Story trailer that provides details about the characters embarking on the search for the two legendary swords and their individual motivations.

Taking place in the 16th century, SoulCalibur VI sets players on a voyage of discovery as they uncover events from the original SoulCalibur to learn hidden truths. The game will also feature a diverse line-up of new and returning characters with their unique fighting styles and weapons including series mainstays; Mitsurugi and Sophitia and newcomers such as special guest-character, Geralt of Rivia, from CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher series and GrØh who was recently announced.

Bandai Namco also revealed a Deluxe Edition for North America, and a Collector's Edition for both North America and Europe. The Deluxe Edition, which will be available for $99.99, comes with a copy of the game, Metal case with built-in soundbox, the game's soundtrack on disc, and the Season Pass including five packs (three playable characters, two armor packs, Season Pass bonus playable character). Available to purchase for $149.99, the North America Collector's Edition includes the same content of the Deluxe Edition plus a 12-inch collectible Sophitia figure and a Collector's Box. The Collector's Edition for Europe includes a copy of the game, a 35-centimeter collectible Sophitia figure, digital content, the Season Pass, and digital soundtrack.
