Bandai Namco today released a new trailer for One Piece: World Seeker. This trailer reveals new information about the story and introduces two brand new and original character conceived by Oda-sensei, the creator of One Piece himself.

Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece has been involved from the start of the project and the game’s conception. He oversaw all story aspects and created two brand new original characters, Jeanne and Isaac, both who will be the focal point of this new adventure for The Straw Hat Pirates.

Prison Island’s inhabitants are divided into two faction. On one side are "The Pro-Navy" who freely accepted the Marine’s control and modernisation of their island. On the other side the "Anti-Navy" citizens who prize customs, traditions and history of the island. The two newly revealed characters embody this split.

Isaac is the warden of Prison Island, who helped rebuild after the war using science, and grew both his wealth and influence from that. Luffy and his crew have made little impression on him, but he seems to have and existing relationship with Lucci (CP-0 Intelligence member). He is a mysterious and enigmatic individual man.

Jeanne is the opposite Isaac, an Anti-Navy individual and the leader of the rebellion. She loves the Island and the way it once was and she swore an oath to protect its inhabitants and its traditions from the World Navy. She longs for peace as too many have already suffered from this needless conflict. But what will this encounter between her and Luffy bring to the Island? Peace or more conflict?

One Piece: World Seeker releases in 2019 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
