Steins;Gate Elite Launches In North America And Europe For PS4 And Nintendo Switch On February 19th

Spike Chunsoft has announced that Steins;Gate Elite will launch on the 19th of February in North America and Europe for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. A release date the PC version of the game was not revealed.

Spike Chunsoft also revealed the Limited Edition for Steins;Gate Elite. Available for $89.99, the Limited Edition includes the following:

  • 100+ page Hardcover Storyboard Collection — Storyboards for the newly-created animated scenes specifically for Steins;Gate Elite. Kenichi Kawamura, director of the Steins;Gate 0 anime series, was in charge of creating each storyboard.
  • Exclusive Cloth Poster – Features original artwork designed specifically for this limited edition.
  • Custom Outer Box
  • A copy of the game for PS4 or Nintendo Switch
  • Steins;Gate Phenogram (PS4 only) – A collection of 10 additional stories written by renowned writers including the Zero Escape series scenario writer,
  • Steins;Gate 8-bit (Nintendo Switch only) – A special 8-bit graphics and chiptune version of the game developed by series creator Mr. Chiyomaru Shikura

Steins;Gate Phenogram for PS4 and Steins;Gate 8-bit for Nintendo Switch will also come included with each copy on the respective platform.

Telling the story of the original Steins;Gate, Steins;Gate Elite is fully remastered with animated scenes from the anime, creating a perfectly new, immersive experience. Players follows a rag-tag band of tech-savvy young students who discover the means of changing the past via e-mail using a modified microwave. Their experiments in pushing the boundaries of time begin to spiral out of control as they become entangled in a conspiracy surrounding SERN, the organization behind the Large Hadron Collider, and John Titor, who claims to be from a dystopian future.

Steins;Gate Elite, including its Limited Edition, are now available to pre-order from local retailers.
