Alongside the recent news on the future of Final Fantasy XV's DLC, Square Enix announced that the standalone version of Final Fantasy XV's "Comrades" multiplayer expansion will launch on the 12th of December on PS4 and Xbox One.
With this standalone version of "Comrades", players can participate in various hunt, guard and convoy quests in co-op gameplay with up to four other players. The game will also receive new update on December 12th that will bring 10 additional powerful bosses for players to face off against. Current owners of Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades who wish to continue playing on Xbox One and PS4 can download the standalone edition for free when it launches on December 12th.
Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer: Comrades will be available to purchase for $9.99. The release of this standalone version will also result in a price change on the game's Season Pass, which will be priced at $14.99 starting December 13th.
