Bandai Namco has released a new update for Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker that adds Obito Uchiha as playable character.
Similar to all other DLC characters, Obito will be playable as a free character to everyone. However, should you wish to unlock Obito as a Master Character, which will give you access to his move set, costume and weapons for your own in-game avatar, you need to purchase his training pack for $3.99.
Obito’s master pack includes the following:
- Weapon: Sword of Nunoboko
- Avatar part: Obito’s hair (male only)
- Obito Outfit (male only)
- Obito’s Ninja way t-shirt
- Obito’s Ninjutsu (Defense type)
Along with the new character, the new game update brings several new features and fixes. For starters, to celebrate the release of this update, every player will receive 10 Esoteric scrolls. Players can also expect expanded custom slots, which will increase the number of sets to 4, with 4 slots per set, meaning a total of 16 customizable slots.
This update also adds the event Ninja World Face-Off, which will give players the chance to earn rewards for participating in the new game mode Survival Exercise. In this game mode, 6 players fight for victory in the Chunin Exam Finals Arena. You can get points if you defeat enemies or stay alive during the battle. The battle ends if the time is over or if a player reaches a certain number of points. The Top 3 players are winners.
Finally, this update brings UI updates, Action Balance updates, Ninjutsu and Secret Technique Balancing changes, and more. You can check the full patch notes in the link below.
